Non-Network Program Solution Providers

Non-Network solutions used to track affiliate activity were once considered the poor man's choice -- and often affiliates viewed these programs with trepidation.  These perceptions have changed.  Certainly the top recommended solutions below are worth checking out.  

If you are interested in a software solution, my strong recommendation is My Affiliate Program from KowaBunga! Technologies.  Their solution is quite robust, providing all the functionality needed to run even fairly complicated programs.  Most importantly -- and I cannot emphasize this enough -- the SERVICE provided by KowaBunga! is second to none -- and I mean none!

Groundbreak's Ultimate Affiliate software product lets you run a fully featured affiliate program from your site. Written in the PERL, their script gives you control of your program - at an affordable purchase price (no monthly FEES).  According to their site, Ultimate Affiliate has been running on sites generating 2 million hits per month and processing 20,000+ commissions.

MyReferer is a very inexpensive tracking solution that you may want to check out.  Some important features are missing, like the ability to email your affiliates (you have to download their email addresses for use in your own email system).  Hey, what do you expect from a solution that is free to set up and only costs $25 a month -- and no revenue share!
