It’s no secret that CD sales have been decreasing as a result of internet piracy and legitimate downloads of people wanting only the hits and not the rest of the tracks. What would you do if you were in marketing for a music company?
there needs to be a motivation to own the physical CD. Every third purchase gets a prize type thing. Concert tickets, or at least discounts to tickets, or early access to tickets, all would motivate somebody who wants the music to get the CD and not download it
