Internet marketing gurus are out there, who are willing to share all their knowledge and secrets with you for just $49.95 per month, or in some cases a one time payment of $999.00. Then there is the “hired help”. These are the people who buy everything the guru is telling them about how to become rich, and then they promote the guru material to others. Of course, the hired help ends up making a few dollars for selling the guru material to you, but in order to make a lot of money, the hired help must find hundreds of customers just like you. If you have been searching for an internet marketing opportunity, you have no doubt run into the gurus and without question, your inbox is overflowing with followup emails from dozens of the “hired help”.
Okay, so let’s use proper terms. These so called “hired help” are really called affiliates, and affiliate marketing is a fancy name for someone who sells a product for someone else. We use to call these people salespeople, but since nobody likes a salesman, we now call them affiliates, or in some circles, the title of “Partner” has been added. Regardless, all that is really important when speaking to anyone about an internet marketing opportunity is, will you benefit from it, and is it something that you can believe in. Because I will tell you the truth, if you don’t believe in a product or service, and use it yourself, you will never be able to sell it to someone.
I know that many folks are frantically searching online, looking for a way to make money. Jobs have been lost, millions are unemployed, and the economy is in shambles. It’s a shame that so many will fall for a sales pitch with promises of earning thousands of dollars per week, and then they will quit within 90 days. The reason most people quit not long after signing up is simple: it’s because there wasn’t instant gratification. Despite every guru warning that “this is not a get-rich-quick scheme”, the advertising and flashy marketing almost always highlights a former student who was waiting tables, before he became a millionaire overnight. It is this type of misleading marketing that is perfect for the individual known as “a sucker”.
The truth is that internet marketing or affiliate marketing can earn you thousands of dollars per month, per week, or even per day, but not until you have the knowledge and proper system in place. And there is only one way to get those things, and that is with one-to-one training, coaching, and mentoring from someone who has more knowledge than yourself. Nothing can replace solid training, solid education, and solid preparation into any field. So before you “sign up” to make millions of dollars in 90 days, start exploring how to “sign up” for some training. In the long run, investing money into some initial training, will result in the long term success and financial situation you are looking for.
