The Enigma Machine: A Simulator (Ver 6.3) Anyone here interested in some amateur cryptanalytic?
YRKUC! ZYB ELB XRV? Gibberish? I do not think so! This is an example of the kind of news that ypu with the Enigma Simulator (Ver 6.3) What can make is availible for free, and is fully compatible with the real Enigma machine the Second World War, (you get every model of the war, from the M3 "Unbreakable" M4 model). Interested in receiving, and perhaps replace some messages for me and doing some amateur cryptology as a hobby? This is a nice idea, but I do not think that the Enigma is the kind of thing for amateur crytography. The Enigma was a lot of very smart people (including at least a genius – Turing) and the development of the world's first electronic computer to crack. You might have better luck starting with the Vigenere or Playfair (both are not no walk in the park!) Good luck.
