The Clinton/Obama debate on Fox: Did Obama accept the invitation?
and will it be televised nationally?
Clinton communications director Howard Wolfson announced that the campaign has accepted a Fox News invitation for a one-on-one debate with Barack Obama in Washington DC on February 11 — the day before the so-called Potomac Primary featuring DC, Virginia, and Maryland. The debate would also air locally on the DC Fox affiliate WTTG.
He might decline. Debates are not his forte, it’s reading prepared speeches and making promises. He was badly beaten in the past and he learned his lessons well. Going against an experienced and competent candidate will make him look silly.
