Espn Affiliates Radio

Will ESPN try to cover up Steve Phillips scandal like they did with Ben Roethlisberger?
As many of you know(or may not know) Former Mets GM & ESPN Baseball Tonight Analyst Steve Phillips is accused of having an affair with a younger woman. His wife is now filing for divorce & he’s now been embarrassed & humiliated. So will ESPN cover this up & tell their Radio affiliates to not report this story like they did with Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger when his scandal happened? Wouldn’t Surprise me one bit.
Whether he did it or not Patrick the point was that ESPN tried everything they could to not report the story like any responsible Network would but didn’t b/c of the Networks relationship with him. Not only they did not report it but they told their TV & Radio stations not to report it or take questions about it. That’s like someone trying to kill President Obama & CNN tells all their Networks not to report it. It’s wrong & ESPN was wrong for not reporting the BIg Ben story just b/c they had a relationship with him.
You and I both know if he didn’t work for ESPN they would be reporting every detail. So yes, I believe ESPN will keep hush on this matter.
How stupid are these people anyway? Get a divorce for crying out loud. Also 22? See what that got you Steve, a letter written to your wife about birthmarks no one would know and ratting you out in detail. I don’t really care about the affair all that much, just can’t get these rich people not just leaving their wives or husbands so they can find someone else too.
And for those who think she’s some hottie…think again, not that that should make a difference
