Change Affiliate Url
GoogleCash updated to 2008?
I am a little confused about something I read in googlecash & other ebooks circa 2003 -2007. Now I know that Google has changed the rules about what is acceptable in the adsense advert. My ? is if the green url at the bottom is the product sellers website where do you put your affiliate ID (in the blue line at the top)? I presume the 1st line directs surfers to the affiliates own website/blog & not the vendors sales page.
Some help in clarifying my understanding is much appreciated.

First off, IGNORE those ebooks. Read the Google Adsense blog instead — it will be worth your while.
I don’t know which rubbish ebook told you that you can put in your affiliate ID (whatever color of the line it is) in Adsense. You don’t put anything on the code.
You simply login to Adsense, generate the code, and EVERYTHING is there, including your publishers ID. And you don’t add anything to it — otherwise tampering the code is against Program Policies and can get you kicked out of the program
And referral ads in Adsense is only up to August. They are retiring the program because Google has just launched their Google Affiliate Network
Please — don’t bother with those ebooks. Not only are they outdated, they are simply rehash of what Adsense tells you
Go to Adsense site and read the blog, read the discussion forum, read the success stories. Don’t pay for worthless ebooks
