Disney never contacted me after I gave blood for the ‘give a day’ promotion?
When Disney came out with their ‘Give a Day-Get a Day’ promotion, I immediately signed up. I gave blood at one of the affiliated blood donors facilities who told me Disney would be back in touch with the certificate. They never did. I just recently emailed them and Disney said they had no record of me signing up AND since the promotion ended-now it’s too late for them to honor anything!
I was only contacted by the blood services people, AFTER I signed up on the Disney site. Disney doesn’t want to bother, they got they hype!
Anyone with a similar problem? Does sound like a FTC issue?
No it’s not an FTC issue.
You waited too long to contact Disney about it. When you signed up, you should have paid closer attention to the time the promotion ended. ALL promos, Disney or elsewhere, have start & end dates posted on the website(s) about the promo(s).
Your best bet is to just chalk it up to a good deed done & move on.
