Affiliated Foods Kenosha, WI Help!!!!?
I was interviewed 3 times, drug tested and physically tested for a warehouse job for Affiliated Foods Midwest in Kenosha, WI. It all looked good until 2 days ago when I recieved a letter stating that they are now going to have a contractor take care of hiring and training all employees and that I could have all my information forwarded to them(him)
This was a good job with good pay and benefits. This all took 3 months to complete.
How can they do this? Is anyone else in this position???
Very unfortunate. There’s nothing to stop them from doing this, of course, but it is shortsighted — you have a legitimate gripe, and you are understandably sharing your negative experience. That won’t help their “employer brand.” It sounds like you got caught at just the wrong timing… almost all the way through the process, and now told you have to start over with an outsourced resource. Of course, you can try to leverage this a bit — for example, contact the vendor and explain what happened. Maybe you can get a “fast-track” treatment or some other special consideration. Good luck!
