Websites and affiliate, associates please help me understand this?
Want to be an affiliate and or Associate for, stores or businesses online, do I need a website to do this?
No you don’t. But it would be helpful. If you have a product that you want to promote you need to somehow presell it to your prospects. Sending them directly to the stores sales page is a turn off. You need to write an article that talks about the benefits rather than the features and you need to address a pain that you can cure. Become a solutions provider.
You can have web pages on the internet without having a website and for free. Squidoo is a great one because you can link to your affiliate website. Hub pages is another. I recently heard about a new site called blinkweb that is also free. They will give you a subdomain name for free and it is set up with affiliate marketers in mind. The set up is like a sales page. They will try to get you to buy a domain name and pay them for hosting but you don’t have to. You can also try ezine articles but that is tricky business for what you want to do. I’d stick with blogs, squidoo, hub pages, craigslist.
