Affiliate University Of Phoenix
Is there a graduate chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha affiliated with the University of Phoenix?
I have currently enrolled in a masters program at the University of Phoenix, I have been interested in learning more about Alpha Kappa Alpha and would just like to know if there is any chapter at this particular university. Thanks in advance
You do not need to be in Graduate school in order to obtain membership into the sorority. You need to have completed your bachelors degree from an accredited university with a C+ average. If you did not finish your bachelors with a C+ average, then you will need to have completed your masters from and accredited university in order to obtain membership. I am not sure if the University of Phoenix applies you would need to find out this information on your own.
Graduate membership is by invitation only, so you will need to find what chapters are located in your area. Try to attend as many events as possible to get to know the Sorors in your area. Also, it is important to be active in the community, you never know when you might run into a member of the sorority.
