So many marketers purposely try to create viral content, and most try in vain for a very long time. No question, there’s a good reason for it because being the marketer who does that can transform a business, overnight. But as we all know there’s it’s just impossible to predict viral content from regular, normal content. You can do things a certain way, follow particular guidelines that can contribute to the chance of ‘going viral’ with your content. Following these hints might seem like basic common sense, but you would be surprised at just how many could be the tipping point between being “normal” and being “extraordinary” in internet marketing. Try creating content that produces a real visceral reaction in people.
The expressed intent of your content is to have people read it, or look at it, and they feel “something” very strong, right away. All the normal, sort of common reactions people have to something mildly interesting is not what you want. Keep in mind that you may evoke negative reactions among people, but that’s better than no reaction whatsoever. If you find your product becoming popular, it’s usually due to other reasons. Avoid pushing the product, but rather share something with others about your self. Trying to make money is the fastest way to be ignored when your goal is to go viral. Just leave the selling to all your marketing devices on your website. Or, you can come clean and really tell them you’re clueless. Be different – admit you’re not knowledgable about it and ask for people to help you.
