Affiliate Relations Jobs

Should I pursue this in court?
Basically, I was not given a job because I am a woman. See my other question for more info:

But there is more to it… through email conversations with the guy hiring me, I found out that he wanted to date me/ pursue sexual relations with me. When I told him that I did not want to, that I had a boyfriend, etc, and asked if this would affect my job, he told me that no it would not affect the job, that I would still be hired. Of course, as you can gather from my other question on Answers, I was not hired. What should I do? Do I have a case here? This is a big offshore company affiliated with an oil company.
I do still have all the emails between him and I.
The emails came from his work/ company email address.
You should pursue this issue, but legal action is not always the first choice that people have to make. See if you can’t contact his supervisor (or anyone above them for that matter) and explain the situation. Give them the opportunity to seek corrective action on their own (and they may re-issue the job to you under different circumstances, too). If not (or if you’d rather go about it legally), then feel free to proceed to the next step.
EEOC was mentioned several times in answers to your previous question, and they do take these matters seriously. Forget about the job (if the company allows a slimeball like this jerk to have a supervisory position, imagine what the other people are like) and instead pursue the legal matter in the terms of seeking the proper correctional action for this man (and the company if necessary). If he has gotten away with it once (or several times, for that matter), he will only keep doing it again.
