The second reason is that, sometimes, the space you dedicate to your business can be used as a tax deduction. In the US, if your home office takes up a minimum percentage of your living area, you can claim a percentage of your rent or home mortgage.
Get a calendar. A weekly or even a monthly calendar can be an incredibly valuable tool. So you’ll use it to log/track short and long term important dates or goals. When you write your daily ‘to do’ lists, you can always consult your calendar. Many internet marketers swear by calendar use because it keeps them from taking on more work than they can handle and over extending themselves. And they’ll help you keep your priorities in correct order. They may look old-fashioned and dated, but calendars really are a marketers good friend because they help out and work.
Before you begin a new project, it’s helpful to make an outline for it. You can use your project outlines with your daily to-do lists, that way you’ll maintain good momentum with your projects. You’ll always know what needs to be done if you take just a few minutes each day for organization.
