Legal Question?

So I recently order some DVDs from a website called “Ultimate DVD Shop” and subsequently canceled that order about an hour after it was placed. After a week of calling them I finally got a refund, only to have them charge me again a week later. I’ve been emailing them but have gotten no reply. I’ve contacted their customer service number and have been told that my request for a refund was submitted to the manager and that when she leaves the meeting she’s in she will call me. I’ve been told that 5 times now. I contacted the company DVD Avenue as Ultimate DVD claims to be an affiliate of theirs only to find out that it is an illegitimate company. They were able to give me a land line number for them, but it is no longer working. So I’ve figured out that they are based in Florida, and I am in Kansas. I want to pursue legal action to get my money back, how should I go about do it?

If you paid with a credit card, no problem. Call your card company and they will withhold the charge pending the investigation.

If you paid by check, cash, or money order… you can file a complaint with the FBI, they have an internet crime website http://www.ic3.gov/
