Is a website like this considered a company?
I want to start a website. It will be a website with lots of reviews, comparisons, videos, and articles on different cell phones. I would sell advertising to make money and I would sell products through affiliate programs with att, sprint, verizon, etc.
Is a website like this where it is with information considered a company if i incorporate it? When people think of companies, they think of businesses that sell products and or services. I am not selling anything. People think companies are like Apple and Verizon and Boeing, but could this website be considered a company? Could I be considered a CEO?
It is a company. You are not selling anything to consumers but you ARE offering a service, even though it’s free. Also, you are conducting business-to-business sales when you sell ad space to advertising agencies. You would be a CEO if your company was a corporation. Hope this helps
